Forest Spirit

These past few weeks, I've been busy with works and studies. Plus, I managed to get extremely ill and was bedridden for several days. This was the only thing I managed to finish in between my hectic schedule. 

This is probably my third Copic art that managed to get finished without getting ruined. I did this on an A4 marker pad, so the background was left like that because I'm afraid of using up all the ink by coloring it. Copics are incredibly expensive..  

The idea behind this was that a girl was sent as a sacrifice to the wood god, but it turned out the forest spirit was kindly instead and offered to help the girl. It seemed ridiculous (i mean, did it save every sacrificed virgins that get sent into its forest lol), but yeah...

ps: my poor portable scanner seemed to have a scratch as no matter how many times i rescanned this, it still has that stubborn line running across the page. So, apologies..
